SUE PERKINS

Co Founder

Sue Perkins is an accomplished presenter, writer, actor, director, and comedian. Passionate about storytelling, Sue founded Croydon Films, alongside Debi Allen, to explore and produce a variety of different genres of television, bringing her creative vision to a wide range of entertaining and engaging projects.
 

DEBI ALLEN

Co Founder

Debi Allen started her career as an agent when she joined Billy Marsh Associates in 1993. She set up a talent agency, RDF Management, for the RDF Group, where she grew the talent division to a team of eight with over 100 clients. In 2009, she established DAA Management, bringing many of her colleagues and clients from RDF. She served as co-chair of the PMA from 2014 to 2018 and now remains on the council.

In May 2017, she joined Curtis Brown, and in 2021, she co-founded Croydon Films with Sue Perkins to explore and produce a variety of entertaining and enjoyable television projects.

 
 

AMBER HOWORTH

Head of Development/ Producer

Amber is a drama, comedy, and development producer working in both scripted and non-scripted.

Having produced multiple short films whilst working as a script reader for Amazon Studios, Amber went on to produce Urban Myth When Joan Kissed Barbara for Sky Arts in 2020. Shortly afterwards she joined Croydon Films as a freelance Producer, and is now freelance Head of Development there. For Croydon Films Amber was Executive Producer on travel documentary Sue Perkins: Perfectly Legal – which aired on Netflix in October 2022 – and Executive Producer and Director for Sue Perkins: Lost in Alaska – which aired on Channel 5 in February 2024 and for Sue Perkins Big Adventure: Paris to Istanbul which aired on CH4 and ABC in November 2024. 

Outside of Croydon Films, Amber was Associate producer on BBC 1 The Gold, series 2, and Legends, coming soon to Netflix.
